About the Genoguide platform

These pathways run on Genoguide, an educational platform operated by the Genoguide Team, TD School, University of Technology Sydney. The organisation named above decides what content is published here; this section describes what the platform itself does with information, whichever organisation you reached it through.
No account, and no record of your progress
The pathways can be used without signing in. The chapters you complete and the decisions you make are held in your browser for the length of your visit and are discarded when you close the page. They are not sent to Genoguide and not stored against you.
Not for patient information
Genoguide is an educational decision-support tool. It does not ask for patient details and should not be used to record them — including in the feedback form described below.
Hosting and content delivery
Pages are served by Vercel Inc. Educational content and images are delivered by Sanity.io. Both receive the technical information that any web request carries, including your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for.
Usage measurement
Genoguide uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pathways are used and where pages load slowly. These report aggregate figures; they are not used to identify individual clinicians.
Feedback you send us
If you submit feedback, we store your message along with the page it came from. A name and email address are optional — supply them only if you would like a reply, and they are stored with the message if you do. Submissions pass through Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that they come from a person rather than an automated script.
Offline access
If you add Genoguide to your home screen, or open it without a connection, your browser keeps copies of pages so they can still be read. Those copies stay on your device and can be removed by clearing the site's data in your browser.
